Classic Traction Terms & Conditions of Sale
1. Terms & conditions of Classic Traction DVDs:
CLASSIC TRACTION aims to despatch all Classic Traction DVDs purchased on-line within TWO working days, once payment has been safely received.
CLASSIC TRACTION aims to despatch all Classic Traction DVDs purchased through it's mail order service and paid for by cheque / postal order or cash within TWO working days of the funds clearing.
CLASSIC TRACTION does not recommend payment when ordering by post by cash, and accepts no liability for the funds whilst in transit between the customer and the Classic Traction Office in Plymouth. If these funds go astray, Classic Traction accepts no liability and will not reimburse the customer in these circumstances. If, in these circumstances, funds fail to reach Classic Traction, then it is the customer's responsibility to take this matter up with the courier concerned, ie the Post Office.

2. Classic Traction DVDs: Replacement of discs:
2.1 In order to comply with and under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, CLASSIC TRACTION would like to reassure all its customers that in the extremely unlikely event that you should experience any problems with your disc, WE WILL ONLY REPLACE THE DISC PROVIDED IT IS RETURNED WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THE DATE OF DESPATCH (date of the postmark on the packaging), together with an SAE to the value of £3.00. Outside of 14 days, under no circumstances will we replace the disc.
2.2 If you need to replace the disc, please in the first instance phone our Plymouth Office on Tel: 01752 704828 / 07895 070811 or e-mail us via the 'contact us' form below.
2.3 If in the unlikely circumstances that a replacement DVD is required, PLEASE ONLY RETURN THE DISC - DO NOT RETURN THE DVD BOX (Please keep this to reduce postage costs). The DVD WILL ONLY BE REPLACED PROVIDED IT IS RETURNED WITH AN A5 ENVELOPE WITH POSTAGE TO THE VALUE OF £3.00 ATTACHED, together with the return address.
2.4. Please note that it is Classic Traction's policy that any items which arrive at the Classic Traction office with insufficient postage will NOT be paid for. All items are despatched to the customer by recorded delivery, and once the item arrives at the customer's address, Classic Traction will take no liability for them outside the 14 day warranty as listed above.
2.4.ii. If an item is returned after discussion with Classic Traction (as indicated in 2.2 & 2.3), and is posted with insufficient postage, Classic Traction WILL NOT pay any postage charges incurred and it is our policy to refuse to sign for the item. In these cases, it is the customers responsibility to ensure the correct postage has been paid.
2.4.iii. If insufficient postage is provided, Classic Traction takes NO LIABILITY for the item which remains the property of the customer. Failure to provide sufficient postage will result in the item being retained by the postal courier (ie Royal Mail) and returned to the customer. Classic Traction takes no liability for any costs or postal charges that are incurred as a result.
2.4.iv. Classic Traction recommends that any items posted to their office are sent by RECORDED DELIVERY.
2.4.v. If an item fails to arrive having been posted to the Classic Traction office, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL WE ISSUE A REPLACEMENT DVD. We will neither issue a refund or issue any compensation for any costs incurred. In these circumstances, it is up to the customer to seek compensation from the postal courier concerned, i.e Royal Mail.
2.4.vi. Please note that Classic Traction DOES NOT issue any refunds or compensation for postal charges / costs incurred in the exchanging of DVDs.

3. Classic Traction DVDs: Refunds
3.1 Please note that under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, Classic Traction is under no obligation to issue any refunds for its DVDs, although we will exchange the DVD if it is proved to be faulty and provided it is within the 14 day warranty (if purchased direct from Classic Traction).
3.2 If the DVD has been purchased from a retailer (ie a shop), and is proven to be faulty, then please return the disc to where the DVD was purchased.
3.3. Please note that under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, DVDs and CDs are exempt from refunds being issued due to the recorded nature of the material.
3.4 In order to comply with and under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, due to the rare and copyrighted photographic and video material of Classic Traction DVDs, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO WE ISSUE REFUNDS. In the rare and exceptional circumstances should you experience a problem, provided the disc is returned within 14 days of despatch (as marked by the date of the postmark on the packaging) together with an A5 envelope and postage to the value of £3.00 attached, we will be pleased to issue a replacement disc. Please see details of how to return your disc / conditions of carriage etc (sections 2.1.i - 2.4.vi) as listed above.

4. Cancellations & Fee Reversals:
4. 1 For all orders received on-line, Classic Traction will only issue a refund for any cancellations or amendments provided Classic Traction is responsible for the error (of the on-line order) and that the order has not been despatched. Once the order has been despatched, Classic Traction WILL NOT issue any refunds under any circumstances (even if the order is returned). Should an order be cancelled or amended, it is the customer's responsibility to alert Classic Traction immediately either by phone or e-mail (we regret we cant accept amendments or cancellations in writing), and that all payments received by credit / bank / visa card or paypal are subject to a 5% administration charge of the total order cost. Unfortunately, this is a fee charged to us by the banks / paypal, and in the event of a fee reversal, Classic Traction regretfully has to impose this charge / fee imposed on us by the banks. We are pleased to add we do not impose this on any orders paid by cheque / postal order. Please note: this is a condition & term of sale.
